Research interest

The research activity focuses on learning from big data in urban contexts. Specifically, the goal is to use data to discover new hotspots that can be useful in city management, data-driven solution adoption, and event prediction. The main domains are crime data analysis, climate data analysis, mobility data analysis, energy consumption data analysis, and social data analysis (i.e. schooling, population, health).
