[Curriculum Vitae EN Short]<\/a><\/p>\n

Fabrizio Marozzo<\/strong> is an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering<\/em> at the
\nDepartment of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics, and Systems (DIMES<\/em>) at the
\nUniversity of Calabria<\/a>, Italy.
\nHe holds both a Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong> and a Ph.D. in Systems and Computer Engineering<\/strong> from the same university.
\nFrom 2011 to 2012, he conducted a research internship at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center<\/strong> (Spain) within the Grid Computing Research Group of the Computer Sciences Department.
\nCurrently, he teaches Operating Systems<\/em> and Models and Techniques for Big Data<\/em> in the Computer Engineering program at the University of Calabria, and has supervised about 200 Master’s and Bachelor’s theses<\/strong> in Computer and Management Engineering.<\/p>\n

His research interests focus on big data analysis<\/strong>, large language models<\/strong>, machine learning<\/strong>,
\nhigh-performance computing<\/strong>, and cloud and edge computing<\/strong>.
\nHe has authored about 150 scientific papers<\/strong> in international journals, conferences, and proceedings,
\nand co-authored several books, including:
\nData Analysis in the Cloud (Elsevier)<\/em><\/a> and
\nProgramming Big Data Applications: Scalable Tools and Frameworks for Your Needs (World Scientific)<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

His research spans the following areas:<\/p>\n
